I'm on Xbox. I'm not against timed exclusive content, however, including the content with the next expansion a year later isn't really a timed exclusive. It becomes a part of that next expansion.
And that's my real beef with how Bungie allowed this deal to go down. Like I said, two weeks, two months. Ok. Fine. But a whole year? They've essentially been holding your money interest free for a year.
Destiny is a multi-platform game. It's not like the entire game is a timed exclusive. If Bungie did this to screw over Xbox executives, I hope they reverse course as this doesn't do a damn thing to the executives or shareholders. It only hurts the fans who helped build Bungie.
I know this is old news, an old topic. But I'd feel the same way if the tables were turned and playstation had to wait a year. It hurts gamers. These obscene timed exclusives do not improve the quality of the game development and gamers should be vocal about their dissatisfaction with them. In this case it's Xbox, but next month it could happen to you on playstation.
Eyes up, Guardians.

Agreed. The psn players say that cod did this, but cod didn't make you wait anywhere close to a year for their timed exclusives.

And Bungie still haven't announced when Xbox players officially get it.
-
We can all assume it will be the same. They have no reason to change now.

I'm with you on this exclusives are fine and all but a year of an exclusive is a bit much even 6 months would be fine

I agree
