I feel with Destiny's launch and year 1, it was not all that great. It was just like the Beta, with things only added to increase play time. Many former Bungie fans were and still are disappointed by Bungie. I've seen what many youtubers had to say about Destiny, and they brought up good points. Bungie did not take a risk, they did not bring anything new to the table. We got a mix of some different types of video games, but none of them were really the best parts of those games. Bungie took a safe apron have for their new IP, which they did not need to do! Destiny is a triple A game publish by a triple A publisher and developed by the people who made one of the most popular games ever, Halo! They should have taken a risk, they should have done something no one else has done before! WHO CARES IF IT WOULD NOT BE AS GOOD AS HALO! They would have taken a chance and tried, and even if they still failed, at least fans would forgive them for trying instead of giving us a generic game! I want to like Destiny, I really do, but all I see are business practices that need to stop! We've got cut content that was on disc at launch turned into over priced DLC. Bull crap deals made to get as much money as possible from each player (I'm looking at you locked DLC content that you need to drink red bull to acquire!) Then we've got the TTK bundle thing with the base game, both DLCs and TTK, and for some reason people are buying that because they want dance moves! Guys, know when you've been lied to, Destiny is a very different game from when it was for announced. There's nothing special about Destiny, but you guys believe there is. I'm not saying you guys should not play Destiny, because if you like, then go ahead and play it! But at least help make it a better game for everyone who was screwed over by Bungievision. My pre-order lead to a disappointment. I thought Bungie would deliver the best game to ever exist, but that did not happen. We got this game that is a 7/10 game at best. I had faith in Bungie, and I'm sorry if you had no choice because Activision is not a good company. But [b]please[/b] Bungie, fix Destiny so that everyone can enjoy it. I do know that Bungie is releasing a massive update that is supposed to make Destiny a much better gaming experience than when it launched, but for people who have played Destiny since launch, it won't be enough. We will still have a bad taste in out mouths, and many of us won't want your $40 DLC. We have you our money, and we expect a return on that investment, [b]we expect a game that is legendary, no exotic[/b]. Guys, please help us give Bungie ideas on how to make Destiny a better game! They need help, and I don't blame them entirely (although they still need to be blamed for the games problem) It's probably more Activi$ions fault for making Bungie rush and milk every last dollar from gamers pockets. Here's a few thing I think would make Destiny better: -NOTHING LIKE THE STUPID RED BULL DEAL -More fairly priced DLC, make existing DLC cheaper -Give all year one players something worthwhile for them to have, just for playing Destiny's one year beta that we all paid at minimum $60 to participate in! -Hire play testers -Take a risk to innovate and create a game that is new and has new concepts -Fix the networking -Rely a heck of a lock lessRNG, and make loot skill and level based! -Make each boss unique and not just bullet sponges -Release an official public apology to everyone who pre-ordered Destiny, and give everyone who participated in the Beta a special exotic Sparrow. (ok the exotic sparrow part is optional. But you would make everyone happy if you did that!) -DON'T TURN CUT CONTENT INTO DLC AND MAKE SURE DLC IS NOT ON DISC! -Make the worlds bigger and more open, with a lot more amazing things to explore! -Add more vehicles! Right now we're limited to 4 vehicles: A mongoose, a ghost, a revenant, and a shade turret (sorry I get mixed up because Bungie made [b]halo[/b]) -[b]Stop[/b]this [b]console exclusivity[/b] bull crap! Nobody likes it and it's bad for business! -Listen to youtubers, and not the ones who praise Destiny and you practically pay for them to advertise Destiny. (I know you don't pay them, but they get money from YouTube, and they talk all joyful about Destiny so that they can go back to your developer studio to try new destiny things earlier so they can make YouTube videos and get more money!) -Listen to the community -Listen to game critics -[b]LISTEN[/b]
