Burying a Brother in Arms
I would like to see if Bungie would bury our fallen brother who died in the ongoing fight against the Darkness. Anything, a makeshift grave of rocks and a piece of metal would do. A little grimoire about who he was and what he had accomplished would be neat as well. He has laid there long enough. It's time we finally put his body to rest; it's the right thing to do. I understand we have taken back his Ghost, but it too has fallen to the shadows. Maybe it deserves something special as well. Could the duo possibly get a little statue in the Tower in their honor?

So far it's looking good guys. It's starting kinda slow, but I really hope this kicks off and we can get the guy what he deserves.

1 ReplyWe should bury him somewhere nice. Like under a nice tree that gets the most beautiful sunshine. I feel bad everytime i do tanniks cause most of my team just runs over him.

3 RepliesNo use burying him on the moon, he'd probably fall through and end up in a hive tunnel, although I agree he should be moved he shouldn't get a statue, he really didn't do anything worth remembering

3 RepliesIt does seem weird that he's just left there. But then again isn't he coded into that spot for the story? The taken tykes won't be able to experience going back to the area during patrol and seeing the odd remains from the cutscene.

3 RepliesI've seen threads like this before and I always agree, it'd be an interesting mission. The first time thru the mission plays normally, and eventually you get another mission to recover the fallen guardian, leaving his helmet as a marker. Set it up like a dinklebot opening a door mission, except your providing cover for a ship of npc guardians to come, collect him, and get out of the area. Everytime you revisit the mission to farm those fusion rifle kills, when your ghost inspects it, you hear something like "a strong guardian has fallen here, data shows his ghost was never recovered, where could it be?" Then the mission proceeds as normal. It's a basic idea but could work lol.
