The only reason why so many people are crying about Xur selling Gjallahorn is coz now they are not special anymore. Still remember this conversation in a NF with 2 players using Gjallahorn. When they were waiting for their heavy ammo cool down and were hiding from the fire, I went to work with the Boss and told them that I killed the Boss after I killed it. One of them shouted outright (almost angry) over the mic, "With what!?". I replied "With my Admonisher III". Silence followed after that. You see, a lot of players with Gjallahorn need to feel special. Now they are not special anymore since everyone has it, they cry about it. Look, I carried teams through raids etc. I run the abyss, bear the sword, jump through time warps with relics etc. I regularly has the most kills in NF as well. Gjallahorn just dun drop for me and many other players. Bungie's RNG is faulty. One of the worst reward system in a game since I started playing video games from Nintendo 4bit machine. Most drops I got are shards and energies while my other team mates regularly get good weapon drops. One of them even got 4 rare crota weapons in 1 crota run which I carried the team through. Of course, I got loads of shards on that run :) There was even 1 guy who joined after Ir Yut was killed. Without even firing a single shot, he got hawkmoon. So did he "earned" the hawkawesome? :) This is just a game. Gjallahorn is but one of the weapons. I completed the game without firing a single Gjallahorn round. I bought 3 Gjallahorns from Xur yesterday and I'm not sorry some of the pre-Xur Gjallahorn players are not feeling special anymore. You just need to grow up.

To all the ones who bought theirs today, Congratulations. As an "elitist" or whatever, I'm glad you are able to experience this guns power before it is nerfed. So many have gone without it for so long and it's good to see people actually happy with what he brought, so those who are having fun right now with their new ghorn, keep blowing shit up! But to the butthurt people put their who are pissed he sold it, grow the hell up and quit saying you earned it. The only way you would've earned this gun is from the ending of a flawless trials match and getting it to drop from the chest or the end of a skolas prison run.

Congratulations to everyone's first Gjallahorn! Just saddening that Taken King is coming and Year 1 weapons will be unable to be buffed to year 2 :(. Get out there and enjoy it while it currently continues to be the best rocket launcher to date!

Really? Destiny has been out for 11 months and all that time you haven't received a ghorn? Stfu you even had a 1st time you could've bought it but don't give me "oh exotic launchers who needs that" bullshit because that's what everybody says. I'm pretty -blam!-ing sure doing PoE, VoG, nightfall, crota and all those activities 3x a week one of them just ONE will give you ghorn...

It doesn't make sense... Player 1 plays the nightfall each week on only 1 character. One day he receives Ghally. Player 2 plays the nightfall each week on all 3 characters. He never gets a Ghally, but has a plethora of strange coins. When Xur finally sells it, P2 is overjoyed...his quest is finally over, after all the weeks of grinding. P1 is enraged that something he got as a random drop a few months ago can be purchased by those who have put in more hours than him and not gotten Ghally. I can't understand why our community is full of toxicity and hatred...P1s think that they are better than everyone who plays more than them just because they didn't buy Ghally.
