You Earned Your Gjallarhorn
You waited.
You put tons of hours into the game or maybe you've just started.
You earned your Motes and Coins and still played for the coveted Gjallarhorn.
You put in as much time as so many others (or more in many cases) who already had it.
You rock.
Whether you got it in a drop, purchased it way back, or grabbed yours today, you god damn earned that weapon. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise you fantastic mess (yes, I'm talking to those of you who are crying).
Couple things to note though:
- Don't give people you don't know or trust access to your account to buy Gjallarhorn;
- It's properly pronounced "yallarhorn" but that won't change much (I had to say it though);
- Seriously, keep your private information to yourself, please;
- When you breakdown in tears, try not crying on your hardware. Water damage is a pain.

I've heard that the Wolfpack Rounds are actually fuelled by the tears of those who have opened the Exotic chests and gotten materials.

2 RepliesYou damn straight i did! Day one player, 3 34s - one of each class, 875 hours played. Soloed NFs (three times this week), countless raids, ANYTHING to get a Gally to drop. I've seen my teammates get them and dismantle them on several occasions. Today my Gjallarhorn drought shall end, and may you bite the big one rngesus!

i got 1 from the second nightfall after release and i bought 2 from xur when he first sold it so i've had 3 since way at the beginning. they are extremely powerful but over rated. i never even used it until the crota raid came out to make him kneel, all it does is speed up killing some things especially in solar burn, many people have survived this long without it

Raptor Pro Tip: You don't "earn" 99.9% of the crap in this game. Doesn't matter what the devs say. RNG is RNG. If you actually earned anything in this game, I'd have everything unlocked months ago. The only earned weapons are the bounties. And even then getting the bounty is RNG.
