You Earned Your Gjallarhorn
You waited.
You put tons of hours into the game or maybe you've just started.
You earned your Motes and Coins and still played for the coveted Gjallarhorn.
You put in as much time as so many others (or more in many cases) who already had it.
You rock.
Whether you got it in a drop, purchased it way back, or grabbed yours today, you god damn earned that weapon. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise you fantastic mess (yes, I'm talking to those of you who are crying).
Couple things to note though:
- Don't give people you don't know or trust access to your account to buy Gjallarhorn;
- It's properly pronounced "yallarhorn" but that won't change much (I had to say it though);
- Seriously, keep your private information to yourself, please;
- When you breakdown in tears, try not crying on your hardware. Water damage is a pain.

I've heard that the Wolfpack Rounds are actually fuelled by the tears of those who have opened the Exotic chests and gotten materials.
Edit 2: Please play nice and be respectful to each other. No matter what, you earned your Gjallarhorn and anything else you got. No need to attack the other side. We're all Guardians here.

I've always thought the people that hate Xur and think him selling Gjallahorn would be the apocalypse were a little silly. I think I finally figured out why they are like that. They are just insecure. Before the Gjallahorn they 'earned' through RNG made them special and was a reason why people would pick them over someone else who doesn't have one. Now that potentially everyone has a G-horn, on some level they are worried they aren't skilled enough to be picked based on their ability.

So I wonder what Taken King weapons will supplant the Gjallarhorn. Will the use of new weapons require launch code authorization from the Speaker or Conscensus Council?

OMG stop complaining people and give a thought for poor old Skolas as he's probably bricking it right now and thinking "WTF have you done Bungie" Skolas; you're a*ss is going to be owned by so many. I couldn't care less if a newbie has one, makes no difference to me and I’ve had one once since week 3 and I’ve been playing since day one 9th Sept @ 12:30GMT.

11 RepliesI literally got my first one 2 days ago out of the gorgon chest. I'm glad everyone gets to have it, but it is kind of frustrating that I went on a kind of exotic quest, running crota on all my characters, atheon on all my charaters, 3 nightfalls and pretty much evert hinges that has a chance of dropping an exotic, and when I finally got it, he sells it 2 days later. Grrr xur lol.
