And how to you propose to monitor that? Bungie releases info on these forums, twitch Reddit, Game Informer, IGN, and many others. They can't be responsible for people not reading these articles, ignoring the info, or forgetting what they read.
So again, how can they moderate people jumping to conclusions?

He meant "me". "Don't let ME jump to conclusions." lol

How about not releasing conflicting information like "you're guns will be useless" and "Hey don't dismantle yet you'll be able to sacrifice gear". To me that says they're undecided on exactly what their plan is for old gear, although I think it would be incredibly asinine to make year one gear irrelevant as that makes all year one game play irrelevant which in turn significantly cuts the experience of any year 2 adopters. I'd be more pissed to pay the money and pick it up in year 2 to essentially only play an expansion.

Bungie should control what IGN, Gameinformer and so on so forth, are allowed to put out.

They do, for the most part. But how can you monitor the individual? People still make posts concluding the wrong thing and defending it based on ignorance. Bungie, like many companies, has a timeline of what they want to release and when.

Yet they let Gameinformer release vague information about a week and a bit ago.
