So I ran song of flame while grinding out match made dragon strikes for hopscotch pilgrim. I don't think my team mates noticed though.
I think there should be a more noticeable announcement when a team mate gives you a buff like that. Instead of just saying it on the side of the screen.

I think that's just cause no one expects warlocks to run that choice. more often than not its fireborn instead so ppl aren't concerned with checking if they have a buff. but when I walk into a defenders bubble I like to immediately check my buffs for WoL or AoL

it says it's active on the bottom left side, but audio would be nice

I know it displays it there, but I'd imagine if someone isn't anticipating the possibility of a buff or debuff they wouldn't check. I agree on audio cues. if anything have different sounds for self activated buffs vs fireteam activated buffs
