Different strokes for different folks. I've played story heavy games and usually grow tired of it all quickly.
I can play a ton of Elder Scrolls just doing my own thing and creating my own stories but sit me down with The Last of Us and I just want to rush through it. I sit there thinking the whole time "this would make a better movie than a game"

I completely agree with you there bud. Even games like Borderlands and old games like Ratchet and Clank had brilliant stories that weren't too serious like Last of Us and such. I'd have just enjoyed being introduced to a strike boss with a cutscene, skippable after the first time of course haha, to immerse you into the experience. Like if Valus Ta'aruc called you a little bitch and that he was gonna crush you for wiping out his guards you feel more involved instead of here's a bullet sponge have fun.

Hahaha...yeah I get it. I would actually be ok with that, even expanding on introducing you to a menacing enemy like they did with Omnigal in The Dark Below and how you kept running into her. Maybe they'll make things more interesting in The Taken King.

Exactly. I'd have loved more interaction with the bosses and such as it built up the final battle with them and made it more interesting. Sepiks Prime is just a ball in the sky with no real context. JUST SHOOT AND HOPE FOR A GOOD REWARD haha
