I'm only an average player but the only really impressive kills are the ones with the OneShot&Knife combo. Most of your sniper kills really look like they're made with an aimbot or at least with a mouse. Sometimes you furiously aim in the opponents direction and suddenly the dot teleports to the head and boom, headshot. I don't know, it just looks unreal in most situations. No matter how hard I try, I never got one of those shots...but I'm not a good sniper and I hate sniping in general, so who am I to tell.
Just my thoughts...not trying to downtalk anything. Anyway, of course your level of skill is undebatably high. I guess I'll be using that throwing knife in a different way than before. :)

I said the same thing on most his vids cool dude but mostly he uses benevolence with aim assist perks so he misses by a foot and it pings

Edited by DatNeon: 8/11/2015 11:07:12 PMAs an also average player, I've pulled off a few of those. It's the best feeling ever, and why I keep trying to snipe even though I'm pretty bad at it. You just see someone, scope in, dome them and keep going while thinking "holy shit did I just do that?"

Drag scoping

Edited by Sixclicks: 8/11/2015 7:11:43 PMLooks normal to me. It's all muscle memory and "drag shot." Playing aggressive recon (name from Battlefield) requires a lot of time and practice. Some of the shots I get using "drag shot" are just crazy and make me go back just to watch them again in slow mode. "Drag shot" is when you see an enemy, instead of adjusting your view towards them and then aiming in and shooting, you just aim in wherever your crosshair happens to be and simultaneously move your aim to where their head is, using muscle memory, and fire at exactly the right time without stopping the scope on their head.

Watch people like kjhovey or almighty daygon, their sniping game is even more precise and fast... It's skill...

It is a mouse. Look at the flat transition as he moves left and right while aiming perfectly. Either mouse or he's a god.

If you watched him stream you would see its not a mouse... I used to have a negative K/d on my characters and two months ago I came across Mtashed and started watching his clips and sometimes his streams. While I still suck, I have been getting better just by listening to stuff this kid has to say. He makes sense and more importantly he is always positive when he critiques people or situations. It makes me feel like I could one day pull that off. For instance, I never sniped at all in any fps game and basically because of some of the things he had said and did I started to try... and I'm still bad, but its interesting... I used to watch clips like this and think I could never do that, and then I started forcing myself and actually now I can sometimes actually do that... but whats more important now I can watch these clips and start to see those shots materialize before he makes them... of course a lot of that stuff I could not do, I just don't react fast enough... but I'm getting better, and I'm going to credit this guy.

It's called practice. I am nowhere near his level but I can land those shots very consistently.

He's a god.
