Respect and enjoyed reading about your view but don't agree.
I'm in the "gimme new stuff clique" - still it must be awful to lose stuff you love.

Then why don't u just wait till the last expansion to play and stop waisting your time on getting anything that will be nerfed every update. I'm betting you don't have voc, black hmr, fatebringer, word of crota, found verdict and others ascended
-
Settle petal we pays our money and plays the way we wants ;)
-
Same here, why bother giving us ascended mats to screw us one expansion later
-
... and if the new gear is lackluster? House of Wolves gear is sadly not as good as previous. Adding a few new things has been fine, but I don't feel much love for newer stuff at all
-
Hmmm Suro ...... Violent elegance ;)
-
Perhaps you can rephrase, because you make no sense to me
-
Fair enough. :P Can you give me any reason why allowing me to keep using older gear would negatively impact your experience, though? Not being combative, I just haven't had a single person be able to give me a reason why ascending Year 1 gear is a bad thing. If you want new gear, what's preventing you from simply getting new gear? Why do current weapons need to be outdated for that to happen?

Edited by gallp13: 8/10/2015 10:15:00 AMWouldn't negatively impact me at all - in fact I support folks keeping their old gear if they want. That I am happy to give up my gear and move on should not impact you one bit. Destiny should provide choices for both preferences that way more folks stay involved which is good for us both ;)

I like this guy. ^^^ Hopefully Bungie eventually sees the benefits of keeping the most dedicated players not just involved, but decidedly happy with Destiny. The more players they retain, the better this community will be!

Thx :)

Same boat. Great read. Don't agree. But I would prefer to have a place for most of my weapons and gear. I don't want to dismantle my raid loot and the like.
