Mental training? Bloody hysterical. Let me explain it to you in a very dumbed down fashion.
People with Aspergers are socially and culturally retarded. We speak "off the cuff" from mostly scientific observances because we're not that good with emotional/empathetic stuff.
You can explain a thousand times to someone with Aspergers that a situation or a comment is socially unacceptable and, yeah, eventually the person will pick up on it most of the time but only in that specific situation. If the situation changes (amount of people (we're not good with people), environment, socio-political climate, gender or age majority, etc.) then we will not pick up on why it's fine in one and not in another. We will then get frustrated and (usually) the younger ones will lash out.
There is no "getting over it" or "growing out of it" or "mental training" because our brains do not function the way a "normal" brain does. Personally, I prefer the way my brain functions because I see it for what it really is instead of having to hide behind some ridiculous politically-correct non-sense--i.e., what you're trying to do right now--and can see things based solely on facts.
