What do you do when you want to leave a raid?
Have you ever had those raids where your fire team just doesn't work to you. Either if they just suck, or one of them dropped the n word. You just start thinking HOW can I leave politely or what can I say that is really random and stupid and will confuse them to make my escape? I've gone between saying I've played too much destiny and my eyes hurt or my hamster just got the news that he's been accepted to university, depending on the group.
EDIT: if you want Leave your best leaving lines, serious or not.

If they say the N word (as in being racist) I just report them [spoiler]like reporting a player actually do something[/spoiler] But If they are a bunch of know it all garbage noobs that just want to be carried through everything and not listen or try to learn what to do. I tell them I don't wanna do the raid with them anymore and just leave

One of these two: If I'm going to keep playing because it's still early: "Hey guys we've had fifteen wipes already and this just isn't working. I'm going to head out, good luck." Or if it's late at night and I'm about to logout: "Guys, I can give this one more try but then I have to get to bed." *wipe* "Well, thanks for the attempt, good luck." *logout*

Carry on chatting and pull the network cable. Go to bed. Next day say internet died. Only done it the once though

I just tell them I don't see this group making it right now, so I'm out. Most groups know when things aren't working.

If it's my fireteam, I boot the offending player(s) If it's a friend's fireteam and their friend who is the problem, I message the FT leader and see what they will do. If they do nothing, I just leave after telling them I am done. If it's a team of randoms (rare, I don't chance with randoms very often) I just leave.

Usually yell something stupid like "OH CRAP THEY FOUND ME GOT TO RUN" Or "HOLY CRAP A METEOR JUTS SMASHED THROUGH MY ROOF GTG" Or "ANOTHER GATOR JUST BROKE THROUGH MY FRONT DOOR GOT TO GO DEAL WITH GUYS SEE YA" I always leave the chat right then never wait around to hear the replies I bet they are pretty good

I thank them for the checkpoint and say that I have to "change characters"...and never return

If it's a nice group, I'll just say I'm out. If the group is full of retards and assholes I just go to orbit and do something else.
