What do you do when you want to leave a raid?
Have you ever had those raids where your fire team just doesn't work to you. Either if they just suck, or one of them dropped the n word. You just start thinking HOW can I leave politely or what can I say that is really random and stupid and will confuse them to make my escape? I've gone between saying I've played too much destiny and my eyes hurt or my hamster just got the news that he's been accepted to university, depending on the group.
EDIT: if you want Leave your best leaving lines, serious or not.

There was a really annoying squeaker who wouldn't stop talking so I just turned my Xbox One off. I could not eject from that situation faster.

1 ReplyThe only time I have ever really bailed was on this PUG from lfg.net. On VoG they spent 15 minutes, 5 of them, trying to hold down the other 2 building portals outside while I held top-right by myself. Which, ya know, isn't hard. We were all 32 at the time. So after 15 minutes when the tower was built to almost 0%, I was like... "Hey guys... Listen..." "Yeah, what's up man?" "Well, it's just..." "What's going on...?" "You guys really suck at this game. I don't have time for this. See ya." AtlantaBravest has left the game. But I didn't leave the party so I could hear their reaction. And they were like... "Guys, is he right? Do we suck?" It seriously made them sit there and discuss for several minutes whether or not they were a shit team. It was hilarious.

I either say, "WHAT??!!" Like my gf just yelled for me... Even tho I don't have one.... Or I just say, guys my chihuahua just got accepted to Harvard!! I have to go! And then leave before they figure out what the hell I just said.

I've only done it once on Hard Mode VoG. It was a random group. I just left, didn't say anything.

I only leave if the person's a dick. Then I just say it: Ur a dick. Either stop, or I'm out. Usually my friends back me & kick the person. #dont be a dick

If I'm with randoms? I just leave. If I'm with my clan then I'll tell them I have something to do. If it's one of those latenight raids where people have been drinking, I just stand still or fall asleep.
