Why do men treat women gamers bad? I legit want true honesty here (open up)
Hey there, I'm a gamer from Texas.
I have a legit question I really want to know. After encountering so many rude remarks flirting, or even observing fellow female gamers yelled at/cat called...I really wanna know why a lot if you Lads don't like women? There would be times nothing would happen and yelling name calling and harassment would arise. Almost all of the times the lady gamer werent doing anything and the male would pick at her. Either being sexual or really aggressive. I noticed male gamers would get super mad when she would try to defend herself as if she had no right to defend herself. Then there are the few sweet guys that are super quiet guys. Only 1% percent out of 99 percent. Just tell me a simple sentence of what your attitude towards women is, in the gaming community. Is it Jealousy? Nervousness? No contact with women? Or you just don't like women gaming? Thanks.[spoiler]im watching he honest ok....[/spoiler]

Because guys can hide behind their games and disrespect anyone, but if they are in the real world then you don't see that type of behavior. I thinks this applies to women as well. I avoid being that guy because it shows you're coward

There's a few girls in my gaming group, I see them as just any member. I don't care if you're a giant blue potato if you can speak at least semi-intelligently and can pull your weight in games. I swear, some of our group's best gamers are girls.

2 RepliesI barely encounter any girls whilst playing, but on the off chance I do, I treat them like any other fellow gamer, except that I tend to assume they're bad at the game. This may be down to stereotypes, but it's a proved stereotype - females just have slower reaction times and play less aggressively. Not everyone's the same, and I'm sure there's a lot of skilful girl gamers out there, but not any that I've seen. [spoiler]They really suck! Just my experience![/spoiler]

Probably just thirsty. And then all of a sudden they can hear a glass of ice cold water in their mic. And it's just a tease cuz that glass probably isn't even in the same country/area code.

I have nothing against female gamers, but my other males probably do it to feel a sense of power. Or cannot get a relationship so they hate females.

It's easier to attack a person because they are different from you. Some people do it out of insecurity, some do it because they don't think of women as their equals, and some do it because you're an easy target. I for one don't make fun of women and have some female gamer friends. It could just be a maturity level thing.
