Enlighten me on the fate of our current gear.
Title pretty much says it. What's going to happen to our current gear when TTK launches? I've been on ESO since it launched, so i'm pretty out of the Destiny loop.

You're at level 20. Your armor has increased in power throughout your time on Destiny (up to a relative power level equivalent to you being about 34), but it's still level 20 armor. The new cap is going to be level 40. Naturally, what do you think happens to powerful, albeit level 20 armor when you hit level 40?

Out with the legendaries (all of them) and we get to keep all the exotics.

6 RepliesLegendaries will be left behind, which I am fine with. You can still wear the armor you have now to still be max level. I'm going to be rockin Osiris armor for sure when TTK comes out. However legendary weapons will be replaced quickly by the newer weapons. Our exotics will continue to be upgradable in our journey.

1 ReplyIt's still going to be useful to some extent, remember that you can reach level 40 with old gear, hell even with common gear. The difference is the perks and light level maybe. I'm still going to be rocking my Osiris gear. Took too damn long to get.

3 RepliesPretty much useless unless it's designed for a certain activity or regular pvp. As for new end game content, some blue armor might have more defense than your current gear.
