Below, i'll be posting information relevant to Xur and his item sells of choice. I'll be pulling from several sources (Bungie Armory, destinyxur.com, reddit, and planetdestiny.com to name a few) so that I'm able to give a better idea of how he works. In vanilla edition (for those that are new to this gaming term, vanilla means the original core game prior to DLCs, extensions, add-ons, etc etc etc), someone had a video that showed, based on s/he changing the console times to get an idea of what xur was selling in months past (even months prior to the game even being an idea itself) to prove that the randomness of it actually derives from a table concept whereby each date passes through an algorithm to determine what will be for that date range. In otherwords, they use some 'random generation' to determine which items would fall under which special key. Then, using some 'magic' or formula, take a date or date range, produce a key, and use that key to pick which items are expected to show for that date. So, without further ado, I'll begin posting my data findings below.
