Anyone else notice he was using void fang vestments on a sunslinger... that is the stupidest set up I've ever seen

That's true. I suppose respawning with a grenade when you only have 1 grenade is pretty pointless if there aren't any others bonuses.

you have absolutely lost your mind. there is no better exotic piece of armor for rumble, skirmish, or trials. the fire bolt grenade with viking funeral and touch of flame is the best grenade in the game, entirely without question. it takes 3 players down to absolute and stunts recovery for something like 8seconds from when it is first thrown. it's like hitting 3 people with a headshot and body shot from thorn at the exact same time. i personally sometimes run the heart of praxic, but that's only when i'm in control or something against randoms. in actual competitive play, a sunsinger wears either the voidfang or the ram, or they're not very smart. stuff like claws and heart of praxic, purifier robes etc are for people that are living for their super. your super makes up like less than 10% of the game. why would you use your one exotic on somethinig that is such a small percentage of the game? nerd chooses not to wear the ram because he basically said it isn't fair. and for the idiot below that said he runs fusion grenades, that guy is absolute trash. there is not one single high level or competitive sunsinger in the world that runs fusion grenades. not a single one.

Personally I find them more useful. Tbh these guys shouldn't be respawning too often so to have that grenade charge is kinda pointless when a high discipline will give you a grenade every 30 seconds basically

they don't die if they play control against normal people. but in sweaties they barely go above 1.0, and sometimes go negative. not to mention that is trials the rounds are super short. you get that nade every round, plus every round you get revived you can pop right up with it.

Are you kidding me? Using a perk to receive arguably one of the Best grenades in the game, it's amazing. It's so good of a perk that some sweaties ban voidfang vestaments and lucky rawberry.

It's meh. And obviously isn't as good as its hyped up to be in this game play. Also if your so good in the game your not gonna be respawning often.

Trials and sweaties, and in sweaties everyone dies. And trust me firebolt with Viking funeral is a great nade

Oh I'm well aware but in that tight situation where your opponent has a shotgun you can usually stick them before they paint the wall with you

There's a lot dumber setups haha. Still grants a grenade every life which is useful. Not saying it's the best choice but not a bad one

Like what? The ram on a sunsinger? Truth of the matter is for PVP the sunsinger lacks a stand out exotic piece. HoPF is ok, purifier robes are very situational, claws of A are decent and light beyond nemesis only makes sense for 3v3. That's why u see so many sunsinger now use "voidwalker" exotic pieces (aka ram or voidfang) because the benefit given, even though limited, is still better then what the other warlock exotics offer

Tbh if I went into trials I would be rocking a ram and 2 Fusion grenades. I'd rather be able to take an extra bullet or survive a thorn rather than having a firebolt grenade every time I respawn. Since I can instant someone with a Fusion I don't see the point of a firebolt

Fair enough. I was a warlock since day 1 and I used double fusions all the way until trials. Being able to tap someone once with a hand cannon and then hit them with a fire bolt for the kill is nice but I respect using fusion grenades. I also use the ram as well as the max armor makes it pretty OP. I guess my point is that voidfang is still a decent choice. Better then half of the other warlock exotics at least for pvp

No it will always give you a grenade which is why it's an alright choice. Not the best, I'd run claws but it's pretty common to see.
