John MacArthur? Seriously? That guy is a Protestant pastor and has openly said that the Pope is the antichrist. I don't understand why he thinks he can talk with any moral authority over Catholics when he holds very strong fundamentalist views. Christian fundamentalists are some of the most hateful people this side of extremist Islam. They believe that just being homosexual is wrong, that women are inferior, and that anyone who isn't a Christian will burn for all eternity. John MacArthur teaches that women should 'submit in every way [they] can', and he encourages parents to disown their homosexual children. Find me a non-biased source, and then we'll talk.
At the end of the day, whether Catholics are Christian is still a debated topic. I don't know why, though, since the dictionary definitions of the word 'Christian' and 'Christianity' fit Catholicism to the letter. It matters not how 'false' or 'sinful' Catholic gospels are, the definition still fits. It's just some small-denomination pastors who find flimsy theological reasons that don't stand up to scrutiny.
Just for the record, I'm an agnostic atheist and I believe that nothing can be known about the nature of God to the puny human mind. If there is a God, that is.
