DId you Cheese your first Raid?
My first Vault of Glass run we cheesed the Templar with the Warlock grenade trick.
My first Crota's end run we cheesed the 2nd bridge and pulled the ethernet cable on Crota.
It wasn't really by choice but just happened that way for me.
I think it would be fun going into the new Raid knowing anything about it and just see what happens.

My first vault run we cheesed Atheon. The other guys had run before, but I was new. I didn't argue because i really didn't know what I was doing anyway.

No, we killed atheon legit. It was pretty easy

2 RepliesMy first raid was brilliant Had three that had done it before, three that hadn't They explained everything, made sure we knew what was going on, what we were doing etc. They made each one of us take the Relic at Templar, (In turns of course) We'd play until wipe, then the next person would take it, (I managed mine first go! Yay!) They led us through the Labyrinth, took us to the chest, (Universal Remote....) Gatekeeper, they took the plates and conflux while we took relics. Atheon, they tried to always make sure at least one of them went through, and we ended up beating Atheon on our 2nd or 3rd attempt It was brilliant, terrifying, exciting all in one. Some of the best moments in Destiny, hands down

Did VOG Legit. I was relic holder and I had nooooooo clue. I had to use it since everyone else had good weapons. I had gjallarhorn and ice breaker and good PvE weapons....

Cheesed the hard crota bridge a heap of times, and the oracles in hard VoG. Honestly I've never thought cheese was necessary, it's mostly just who you play with, and what they want to do. Guys who suggest cheesing straight up in every possible encounter, aren't usually the ones who are invited back.

Nope but it was definitely the funnest raid i had endless rockets and supers just to get destroyed with a team of low level guardians by atheon an sups lighting you up lol

Yep. Templar and Atheon were knocked off. We pulled cords on Crota. Good memories.

Legit both raids on release. There wasn't any cheese then.

No, I had a raid team that hatred cheesing. We cheesed a few times on VoG before the crota dlc dropped like the templar when some of us were 29. We never cheesed crota because it was way to easy (20-35 minutes was our best time on new years). I don't see the point in cheesing, it takes the fun out of the game. I want to remember the experience I had when I get a good raid weapon, not just "oh I got this after cheesing for the 12th time." This game is an okay game, cheesing takes away the valor and fun of the game.

Edited by if youre agree: 8/9/2015 1:07:32 AMYeah, we didn't know any cheeses, but at Atheon, we had a team mate who had to leave, and we got a new guy in the party that knew how to push him off the edge. Felt a bit shameful. Crota we did legit the first time, but we couldn't get passed the Deathsinger. It's funny how that part seemed impossible at the time.

3 RepliesI never cheese the first run of anything. Unless shooting the templar from a sniper platform back in the day was cheesing then no. I don't think that's cheating because we weren't glitching anything.
