*ahem* Mormons and Catholics are not Christians.
-
They're in the same grouping
-
Catholics are the original church of Christ. They are absolutely Christian. The end.

Edited by blackwolf957: 8/9/2015 3:14:33 AMA Christian is some one that believes in Christ, Catholics and Mormons believe in Christ that makes those two denominations churches (or branches) of Christianity like orthodox and Protestant branches. And you just can not be only Christian you need to be in a church. The Catholic Church and orthodox were the first churches.

Edited by Witch Hammer: 8/9/2015 1:04:15 AMLolno Christianity was around for a while by the time Constantine created Catholicism
-
The church was around for a while before they called it Catholicism.
-
True, but they weren't called Catholics.
-
He never created the catholic church, the disciples of Jesus did.
-
How come this is not mentioned in the Bible? Because it's false
-
Source that says that constantine made the catholic church?
-
What are you getting at?
-
Mormons are Christians
-
Catholics are

Catholics are a denomination of Christianity. Literally look it up instead of depending on your ignorance.

No sir, they are not. They disagree with the core doctrine of Christianity, they have added and taken away from the bible, and almost all of their sacraments and religious practices are completely opossed to the teachings of Jesus.
-
That's quite an opinion. But that's all interpretation. Catholicism is the original church of Christ, and God/Christ are the center of their worship.
-
Non of it is opinion. And there were churches in Corinth, Ephesus, and Jerusalem before Catholicism.
-
Declaring that Catholicism isn't Christianity is absolutely opinion, and one not shared by anyone who studies religion. Otherwise, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Catholic_Church

You do realize that that article makes my point even clearer? Just because they use some of the same words doesn't make it Christian. Veneration of Mary is idolatry, Pope is an idol, the pope being and intercessor between us and God (Christ is our only intercessor), purgatory, mass as a way to aid in salvation, the apocrypha, Peter was never appointed to be the head of any church...
-
You disagree with their interpretation. That doesn't mean they aren't Christian.
-
Shhhhhhhhhh... *puts finger on lips* Just listen.
