Leaving behind the elemental primary weapons from the raids is the hang up for a lot of people (VoC, fang, word, fatebringer,etc). Spent a lot of time grinding raids to get them. The problem is HoW's was a GIANT BUST for pve players getting elemental primaries. Not a lot of confidence in bungie to make new ones available without beating the new raid so we go into the expansion underpowered. Back to the days of long boring bullet sponge enemies with shields. The biggest problem though is they are removing any incentive to keep playing the old raids not to mention PoE whose only reason to play was to get etheric light. Destiny doesnt have nearly enough content that it should be making all of the previous end game content obsolete. Love playing Destiny but Bungie needs a plan. Every dlc seems to be a new direction. Year 1 was fun but it really was a beta. Hopefully Bungie knows what the hell they are doing now.
