I like Deej but one thing he said lately kind of bothered me and is a red flag for bs they are feeding us. He tried to say the fatebringer will be usefull for it's power in the crucible, trying to calm people down with the non ascending of year one weapons. I mean c'Mon you think telling me "oh well it's still gonna be very usefull but only for patrols and in crucible" is gonna make me feel better bout losing my weapons. It's bs, nobody gives a crap about fatebringer for crucible or patrols.

It's normal for a game of this style to force old gear out and bring new gear in, depending on when you got it, you've had the better part of a year to use it. I myself still haven't dropped it, got everything else from VoG inc praetorian foil, but I'm not fussed about it. Not giving aggro, I'm just saying.

It still hurts. Fatebringer is special. I think it should be an exotic.

Yeah I understand this to a certain degree. I truly believe Bungie could make everyone happy by allowing us to ascend older weapons like fatebringer but make slightly better weapons as a replacement thus leaving the choice on the player whether or not to use old weapons. Don't see why this isn't happening.

You never know I guess, there was that post from Cozmo about 'not deleting our old weapons' but I'm not sure. I'm on both sides of the fence in a way. I hope there's better weapons, and a bigger pool of viable options to choose from. I'd quite like a tougher VoG and C.E, maybe a level above us, keeps the old raids viable and a chance at dropping higher levels of the weapons we own, but I doubt it'll ever happen, as it contradicts what I said in the first place lol.

Yeah I just want it to be our choice to not use them not forced by making them underpowered.

The BS part about that is [i]Fatebringer[/i] is trash in the crucible.
