In Destiny, Team Deathmatch is called clash. Domination is called Control. Seems elementary to some but in recent forays into the crucible control game mode, it's glaringly obvious that most of the community isn't aware of this fact.
Here's how it works: in control the objective is to hold 2 or more flags and kill enemies to score points. Not to run single file into B and get mowed down time and time again when you are triple capped. It's also not to camp the waterfall on pantheon... Or sit on the back wall of rusted lands... Or be anywhere other than in the vicinity of a cap point capping and defending.
It's pretty darn easy to get your kills AND win the match with a bit of map control. Simple... Cap 2 points, form a blockade to keep the enemy boxed in. Don't flip the spawns by being a hero and charging to the third point... Don't charge the snipey camper from 200ft away... Don't try to shotgun the golden gunner... Don't melee the bladedancer... Don't try to jump over the Titan smash... Don't run in the bubble... Don't duck a nova bomb... Just sit back , let them come to you; and they will come to you, they have no where else to go... You can still be active, you can still rush... Just ptfo... If you want to ignore flags and run around like a chicken who got domed by a final round spear... GO PLAY CLASH... Leave the big boy modes for the big boys....
