Range doesn't mean what it's supposed to mean. Take TLW for example. It has extremely low range but can 2-3 shot from incredible distances. Hopscotch has tighter bullet spread, so that means all 3 of your shots will be head dingers more often with Hopscotch than with Messenger. Tested, fact.

Range makes no difference in crucible so for the PVP aspect the Hopscotch Pilgrim wins. But PvE the messenger wins
