Light levels will determine how strong you are and will not be your direct level. They are not being removed

Exactly. We'll be level 20 when TTK drops. You'll still be able to do end game content because you still have 168 light (assuming you have level 34 gear).

Where and when did they say this because every video and article I seen said there getting rid of the light system all together soo.....
