Its not the same. You cant get max stability on the messenger. Regardless, play with the gun you like better.

It's damn close my rolls on hopscotch were stability inc and reload speed with red dot to me they performed the same I think hopscotch has a few less in the chamber but that's not too bad. My messengers are arc and solar so they do shine in pve too, and I don't use the extended mag perk it's a laser aswell

Its up to the perks i guess. My hopscotch has Thirdeye/handlaid stock/ hidden hand. It has a 30 rd clip and 100% stability. Hidden hand makes it a laser. My personal preference would be HP it just feels better than the messenger to me.
