Wrong.
They have stated that you will start at the level you currently are.
If you're 26, you'll start at 26 for TTK.
If you're 30, you'll start at 30 for TTK.
If you're 34, you'll start at 34 for TTK.

They sure did say it. I saw a IGN interview where DeeJ talked about it. It's not a big deal to me, I know I'll be 34 when TTK is released.

I don't know, that's something they should answer though.

I had the same thought. I have three 34s. But right now, they are all 33 because I am upgrading stuff I don't usually wear. In an extreme case, I could be level 20 if I wanted. I guess I will make sure I have my good armor on in mid September :) Though they probably took this into account, why take chances.

I'd keep your highest level armor on just in case. The info is in a IGN interview with DeeJ if you want to check it out yourself. It's on YouTube, I don't remember the link though.
