You're not smart enough to read that there is a huge xp boost for new and existing players to bring you up to level for TTK.
Also I believe current levels stand regardless of gear.
Anyway, the switch is good. It always should have been xp and gear for perks and aesthetics.

Looks like someone needed an edit to correct *you're...

Actually it was the part about staying the same level you're* currently at. : ) Not that I've never been guilty of that before
-
I concur

Edited by Blue: 8/7/2015 2:35:04 PMThe XP boost brings you to lvl 20 so you don't have to re-grind vanilla Destiny again. P.S. Clearly you are not smart enough to read or you would have picked up on that.
-
No, you stay at level 34 when the DLC drops
-
You're wrong, you'll start at level 20 and grind 20 levels to hit 40. Level 40 effects the content you can be placed in, but light will be relevant and affect what gear you can equip.

Deej himself said at the IGN Live Interview that whatever level you are now (34) will be where you continue your levelling process to 40.

Edited by Blue: 8/7/2015 2:47:20 PMNo he didn't he was vague in his response saying the level you've attained is the level you'll be. Then when asked about being level 26 he said you'll be good to go meaning in order to start TTK you'll need to be at least level 20. They are revamping everything right now and you will start at the level you left off as (which was 20). Keep spreading rumors if you want, but you are wrong.

Whatever you say man, but if I'm right - I expect an apology from you when TTK releases.

Okay thats fine.
