Look, guys, argue all you want. This comes down to a matter of some of us wanting to keep using things we've earned to earn new things, and people not caring about what they have earned, only what they will earn next. It doesn't impact either if we can keep using our old favorites to anally destroy 'new' mobs. It does, however, give the finger to the first group that we lose a years worth of sick loot, just to please the latter group. Let those of us who want to keep our Vanilla guns, keep said guns. For those who don;t care, they can take the new ones. There is not a single argument against the ascension of old guns that invalidates the new guns. No reason whatsoever to tell the veterans "F*** you and your -Vanilla Gun/Armor-, get a real gun/armor set!". Just let us keep our favorite toys, while you go enjoy your new ones.

Bump. All the assholes arguing so vehemently for an end to ascension don't seem to understand that letting us keep the guns we like relevant doesn't actually affect them if they choose not to do it. And yet the venom and insults they throw at us seem to imply the exact opposite.

Bravo. Like you said, there isn't a single logical argument against letting players keep their gear. Keeping gear only has positive results, and leaving it behind has only has negative results. Pretty clear which choice is the preferable one! XD

Plus, those of us who aren't lucky, will be severely butthurt that the Vault Armor Set that took 9 months to complete became obsolete.... again.

Plus, who doesn't want to show off their Vanilla auto rifle, and tell the newbies "Check it, we used to have autos that WEREN'T just rate of fire!"
