Now you got me thinking about every possible outcome.
You know how a plasma pistol can emp enemies and etc. You think a plasma pistol hit could turn off a light saber?

No, I doubt it. Lightsabers endure electrical, plasma, and laser-based attacks with ease. They might not deflect the shot back since it's less refined (while a plasma repeater or rifle along with a beam rifle and carbine rifle might get deflected) but it would stop it.
