Unfortunately year one legendaries just had too many perfect perks. Black hammer and fatebringer? I wonder how they'll be able to top that off with the next batch of weapons. I understand that it sucks having to forcibly get into new sets of weapons, but we were just too spoiled with the VOG primaries, etc. They'll have to get cut off from the ascension option at some point. As annoying as it sounds, the community is right, we can't constantly keep upgrading the current legendaries, they'll lose their taste and ultimately feel boring. Now if you're talking about collecting the weapons to dust them off and show to new players in the future, then I'm onboard for that. (Definitely saving my Vanquisher to show off to the newer players)
