[b]Murph sits in the carrier, reminiscing the time when he first shot a gun.
The hordes of buggers climbed the walls to the tiny base, ripping through the guards at the wall like they were nothing. Freddy yelled, alerting as many of the remaining soldiers as he could. Murph and the other scientists hid in their quarters, relying on the mercenaries and warriors to fend them off. Murph was fed up of being protected by others, for the current number of troops remaining on Exalin was not even a third of the original. He climbed to the roof and grabbed an old sniper rifle from a dead soldier, and took shaky potshots.
His memories are interrupted when a message comes through his digital wrist watch.[/b]
[???]"I know what you've been through. Meet me here."
[b]followed by some coordinates.[/b]
[Murph] "Uhh... What? You guys, come here."

[spoiler]Is Murph bringing Scout back?[/spoiler] A Captain walks up to him, dressed in a training uniform. "Sir, are you alright?"

"Maybe. Mind coming with me to take a look? I can't pass this up if it's someone trying to help us."

"By the way, have you seen Ash lately?"

"No. She went out to scout yesterday I haven't seen her since. I'm getting worried."

"I feel she can handle herself, but she may be getting overconfident with Genesis." *Murph walks to a land buggy* "Anyway, ready to head out?"

"We go in, and try to talk to the guy. If it's too quiet, we leave. If there's more than two of them, we leave. If they attack us, we attack back and wait for Minerva." *he stares at the road, seemingly spacing out, but still driving well* [spoiler]im making a new post because I'm going to add more backstory[/spoiler]
