Here's the thing: There will be new guns, true. There will be new armor, true. If bungie is going to let people keep their armor relevant (otherwise why include the previous two dlc if the gear is usless?) going into ttk, why not weapons too?
Also, I don't understand why people can't support the IDEA OF PEOPLE WANTING OPITIONS.
Every -blam!-ing post has some dickhead saying your favorite weapons are gonna be usless, give it up.
So then why don't you all go delete your shit first? Break down everything except your exotics and see how that works. Oh yeah, you're too stupid to remember you can only equip one at a time.
It's especially funny because NONE OF YOU know what the -blam!- bungie is gonna do with the old weapons.

I haven't deleted ANYTHING yet, and yes, I have the bulk of the coveted legendaries, so I'm sad to see them go, but looking forward to what's to come. By all means though, keep feeling the butthurt.

they don't support us keeping our weapons because they don't understand the grind we had to do to get them. vault of glass drop rate was very frugal in the beginning. getting to level 30 was a grind. plus most people who say these things don't have them either probably.

But bungie obviously has some idea about the grind and horrendously random drops. That's why they let players ascend weapons for HoW. If they didn't want players to keep great weapons they earned, they wouldn't have let us ascend them, and instead made us use ONLY these shit guns from HoW. I'm confident that we'll be able to keep our legendary weapons to the end of Destiny. It also doesn't make sense to have people just getting into Destiny buy the complete game with dlc, when every -blam!-ing item from day one until September will be usless. Why -blam!-ing play any of the old raids or strikes? Make sense?

Just so you know, I have most of the "top tier" PvE legendary weapons. I'm just sick of using the same loadouts in every activity.

That's fine. If you want new weapons, they'll be there. If people want to continue using their favorites, they should have the option as well. Sound fair? That's why people complaining. It's just dumb to let us ascend shit for one dlc, and then all of a sudden say, "nah, that shit is useless."
