Then maybe you should look at it as having more mmo elements. Because that's clearly what's bungie is trying to do. They want you to treat weapons as such.
You'll be more satisfied if you did instead of crying because you won't be able to fatebringer anymore.
Besides. What's in the pipeline is going to be way more rad than what's around now.
Embrace it.

Does no one read the actual post? I don't use Fatebringer! Jewel of Osiris, man. Also, if the new gear really is more "rad" (and I genuinely think it will be), then surely Bungie won't need to force players to start using it, right? I wasn't forced to use Trials gear, but I did; because it's awesome. It was my choice, and it had nothing at all to do with it having increased damage. :P

I read the tldr part. I mean, that's why you put it there right? So people didn't have to read your long winded version.

^^^idiot. I smell a pushover who just takes anything they're fed.

Just not a crybaby like most of you people here. I boil it down to: is it fun, yes or no? And right now, destiny is fun for me. So what, year one stuff won't be as powerful. It was fun grinding that stuff out, and it will be fun grinding out the new stuff. When it's no longer fun for me, I'll play something else. What's idiotic is all the whiny babies crying to bungie that "waaaa, my fatebringer can't be ascended".
