It seems that most people who are ok with it are MMO players, like myself. I'm just used to this. It's the way it goes with expansions. All the stuff you grinded away for in the previous expansion all gets replaced by the first few quest items you receive on the new expansion. I don't mind it at all. It gives me something new to work on and adds freshness to the game. However I can definitely understand the other side's feelings. Those who have mainly played shooters and a few single player games their whole career. I have a friend who falls into this category, and he's been nothing but pissed ever since the announcement. I understand it. All I tell him is to wait and see how TTK goes. Also, I can guarantee there will be a new version of your favorite weapons. I remember seeing a Hand Cannon with Firefly on it already, so...there's your Fatebringer. Just wait to form your final opinions until TTK drops. You may actually enjoy starting fresh again.
