• I listened to the video and mostly agree. I commend the decision to take the high road and "fighting back with kindness", just can't agree with it. If someone walks up to me at my bus stop, punches me in the face, and walks away. Then repeats that the next day, and the next, and the next. It won't stop by me smiling, saying "Thank you but I'm fighting back with kindness" and I'm not leaving. Hitler didn't stop by people smiling and saying we'll beat him with kindness. Sometimes there's a peace that can only be found on the other side of war. I'm not saying violence and hate, per se, but action - not kindness - nonetheless. Bungie and Activision, imo, should take the high road and identify these individuals and say "We'd rather lose your money in future purchases than have you poisoning this community. You are banned permanently." If these messages are sent via PSN or XBL software interface, they should ban them permanently for CoC violations. But smiling and saying we're not going anywhere won't solve anything. These attitudes... these people... are a cancer to this community. Where I work, I'm part of a team that does biopsies to locate cancer so that it can be removed. This cancer needs to be removed. Bungie and Activision has an opportunity to show the players that it cares more about the community than potential future earnings. They should identify and remove these people... this cancer... from the community permanently. Sorry if my opinion doesn't agree with the more noble sentiment, but cancer doesn't go away by smiling at it and treating it with kindess. Resection and removal... surgery... is needed.
