Not really forcing, it's more so encouraging. Think of it kinda like spring cleaning your room because you finally grew out of those stupid posters you had in your room. Things naturally get tossed out, or replaced and in a mmo styled game like destiny where things are loot driven you can't always stick with your beloved Lord high fixer or whatever you have. Nothing is ever the end all be all. [spoiler]sorry if that compaison made no sense. Lol but that's kinda hoe I look at it. [/spoiler]

  • You say "encouraging," whereas I say "twisting my arm," haha. A better way of encouragement would be to just make better gear from a [i]perks[/i] perspective. Just an idea. XD

  • Well they're not going to be completely useless, you can still use them in whatever activity you like you'll just have a tougher time. Plus in the crucible it doesn't matter. Not trying to convince you to get rid of anything, just saying that the natural flow of the tide will continue whether people like it or not.
