Well the very essence of it is an MMO. Looks like one and it acta like one. You can't deny this. But any other games don't allow progress to carry on. The only games I know that do are Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Plus did you bother reading the GI interviews? The quote is "Legendary weapons and armor are not set to ascend to TTK values at the BEGINNING of year two." Read that and put it with what Cosmo said what will you realize? Ascension will continue but not right away. The reason being is they want us to use the cool new stuff first which is understandable.
