1: They aren't overpowered.
2: They aren't useless, either.
3: Something new doesn't HAVE to mean the old stuff goes away.
4: MORE in general is always good and something Destiny desperately needs.
As the title says, your argument is "INVALID."

1. True, not ALL are overpowered 2. True, not ALL are useless 3. Old stuff isn't going away, it is not being used in year 2 4. Why bring more when the game does not have the capacity to do so *Looks at old gens*
-
1: I have yet to encounter anything overpowered outside of the Thorn which they screwed up in the first place the first time they "rebalanced" it. 2: Kay. 3: Old stuff is being rendered obsolete, same difference. 4: Old Gens aren't the cause, that's a myth. I assume you mean Vault space. Its not that hard to do, stop believing whatever corporate tells you.

Edited by InstantOG: 8/6/2015 7:54:49 AM1. I guess the Fatebringer, BH, sniping shotguns do not exist. (Does not mean they aren't fun) 2. Ok 3. Agree to disagree 4. Who knows if it's hard to do or not. Last Gen is holding this game back (not this case in particular). I do not listen to corporate. BL2 has changed my view on this, that game had more guns that served a purpose (Builds, enemies etc) so holding onto those weapons made sense and more vault space made sense too. Here not so much, besides the obvious ones I can replace most of the weapons I collect and even then those will sit in my vault because they are not better than my other options. P.S. there are too many similarities between guns

The similarities has to do with the inability of the developer. Since the start it feels like everything about Destiny has been an utter struggle with Bungie. Either they simply can't handle it or something really...REALLY screwed up is happening behind the scenes. There's only so much we can attribute to Activision, though.
