We do not physically have space for all of the gear that most people want to keep, I'd rather have servers spent on the game and not storing all the obsolete junk that you're too sentimental to get rid of. And FYI, bungie's not making you delete your gear. You can keep gear for as long as you want. Edit: what I'm saying is that if you want to use the little space we do have for old stuff, nobody's stopping you.
