Why don't they give us the option to make the old weapons we want keep into an exotic? Make it cost a bunch of marks, glimmer, and make a new material required to do so. That way people keep their favorites, but still use the new weapons. If they want their old weapons they need to use an exotic slot. Hell, Fatebringer is better than most exotics anyway, so I would be okay with it using an exotic slot from time to time. Just my opinion.
