Your acting as if this DLC won't bring its own great weapons. There's a huge chance Fatebringer, VoC, etc. will automatically become obsolete with newer, better weapons. Even if the new weapons are shot, I'd rather use newer stuff than old stuff.

They said it comes with the largest selection of weapons and armor to date in Destiny, even bigger than the Vanilla game, TDB, and HoW combined...

That's totally a possibility, and I [i]hope[/i] that's the case! Honestly. All I'm saying is that I think the transition should happen [i]organically[/i]. I ascended all of my favorite gear, but [i]still[/i] switched to a bunch of new HoW gear. Bungie still got my money, and I felt like [i]I[/i] was the one making the decisions. Everyone wins!
