It's not just MMO games that do this. Even Borderlands made you farm for stuff again. 3 times in fact. More if you look at the weird OP system in BL 2. Worse, you were trying to get guns you already had, by and large, just with higher attack values. At least Bungie is giving us something new to farm for. Am I pleased with probably losing some of my favorite guns? Not really. Have I, because of previous experience with this, already got over it? Yes. It is what it is. At this point, either come to grips with it, or move on to something else. It seems a bit harsh, I know. But it's a video game. Not really important overall.
