Edited by Tempest: 8/6/2015 3:58:58 AMI'm clearly not telling him how to play. I only stated a fact. The Taken King will come regardless of whether or not people like it. This game has begun to evolve. Anyone who isn't ready will get left behind. The weapon tuning was much needed. The new story was much needed. The vast new weapons and armor (and subclasses) were much needed. Making it so that year one weapons and armor couldn't be ascended was much needed. People need to move on now. We are coming into a new era for destiny. OP can either move on with the game or go to a new one.
Read that last sentence again if you need to.
That is what I was trying to say.
If you want to continue playing this game, then move on. If not, then go play another game.
This is a direct command. You were telling him how to play or to do something else.

I wasn't telling him how to play the game. I was telling him how to react to the weapons not being able to ascend. He can either leave it stay. However he chooses to play the game if he stays will be entirely up to him.

Yes, you told him to move on. That's a way of playing the game. End of.
-
To move on is to do something else. I'm directing him to do something else. Not how to play the game he's currently playing.
-
To move on is to have to play without said gear.

"Move on" can have other meanings depending on the topic. My definition of "move on" applies to my comment to OP. That means "move on" means whatever I say it means. End of discussion.

What matters is the receiving end. It's why you write what you did. This discussions has long been over.
