So you say it's not an mmo fine I can accept that, BUT don't compare it to another mmo then. Hypocrite...

He literally explains why you shouldn't compare it to an mmo

Edited by WindUpDead: 8/6/2015 3:56:20 AMWow you sure are a special kinda special. Op compared it to WoW an MMO! I know shocking right? In one of his paragraphs he compares it to an mmo. Op is a massive hypocrite. Remember in match class the old saying you can't compare apples to oranges? If op doesn't think it's an mmo than he can't expect mmo type things in the dlc...
-
Apples and oranges are fruit, but different kinds of fruit. Nothing hypocritical about saying that. I certainly don't see any hypocrisy in his post. He is literally saying that there are different ways to approach weapons and gear in video games.
-
Well friend not the way I see it... in paragraph seven from my inference he wants destiny's expansion to act like an mmo... and yet claims it's not an mmo.
-
As I read it I see him saying mmo expands content, destiny replaces content. That's comparative analysis, not hypocrisy
-
As I read it I see him saying mmo expands content, destiny replaces content. That's comparative analysis, not hypocrisy
Mmos don't "expand" content. Please look up a game called everquest. It's 20+ years old and is mmo down to the bone. I've played it to the point of a lvl 100 necromancer and an 87 warrior. Mmos don't "expand" they make the older content irrelevant. Op is asking destiny to "expand" by having the same weapons be used forever and ever.
-
You're saying mmo doesn't expand content and op is saying mmo expands content. I've never played an mmo and destiny is the first fps, online style game I've ever played. So the two of you have different ideas of what an mmo is and does. That's still not hypocrisy. As I understand it destiny is supposed to be a hybrid of fps, mmo and Rpg. In the context of comparing destiny to wow, op said wow exands, destiny replaces. I've never played wow, but I've certainly played destiny and I can vouch for the fact that destiny replaces stuff. They replace it rather poorly in my opinion but that's a tangent OP is literally saying that our weapons aren't and shouldn't be hit sticks. I see no hypocrisy here
-
He is showing reasons why you can't compare them... This has to be b8 right? There's no way you're actually that stupid..
-
The op is expecting mmo like things. Pls read paragraph seven. He expects destiny to expand supposedly like an mmo expansion would and yet claims it's not an mmo.
-
Wow being called stupid from someone who can't spell bait right...
-
Confirmed.
-
Again says the guy who spells bait "b8" either lazy (just has worse) or doesn't know how to spell the word it B A I T. not so hard is it?
-
Again says the guy who spells bait "b8" either lazy (just has worse) or doesn't know how to spell the word it B A I T. not so hard is it?
Why're you criticizing my grammar? Laziness is better than idiocy. Which you clearly suffer from. And maybe you should read paragraph 7. He's (again) referencing the MMO to show they can't be compared because they handle expansions differently.
-
How is reading between the lines idiocy? He clearly wants destiny to work like WoW.
-
Oh no that's your reading comprehension skills sucking. Completely different problem for you. The
just has worse
was the idiocy. The problem is destiny handles weapon obsolescence like an MMO but not actually expanding like an MMO. That's what OP is talking about.
