Mmo rpg AND fps. They used an fps approach for a whole year to scrap it??? And don't tell us directly??? If you see no problem with that then that's you. But a lot of people will be quitting for this. They pretty much wasted a year of someone's gameplay.

Edited by Matu Flp Krawfe: 8/6/2015 12:51:10 AMWelcome to shooters. Remember, a mail clerk at the social hub doesn't mean that replacing the entire sandbox at a whim is going to result in a better functioning game. The MMO-RPG (when you get right down to it) is just a label for limited random social component and leveling system. It doesn't mean that any and all features from that genre should or even can be slapped onto an FPS gameplay model with positive results. Thought is still required to integrate the two [previously] separate ways of building video games (and I would think that's what we should be expecting out of a developer, not "well I think Everquest did it so that must mean that WE'RE GOING TO HAVE THE BEST GAME EVER BY COPYING IT LITERALLY!" Though I'll give you guys more credit and just assume you're looking to contradict statements on a forum with the cheapest rhetorical fodder at hand purely for the self-indulgent thrills of it.)
