I'd like comment on the ongoing posts about year 1 gear and weapons. I feel that my year one stuff and the endless hours to grind out every penny of value out of all my guns even up to the current dlc should not be phased out but included in the continued evolution of the game. It's as if you take some one who purchased an old classic muscle car, fixed it up, and then tell that you are not going to be able to use it in a race because of its age and outdated mechanics. I now feel like I simply have two options: 1. Get TTK and start almost from scratch and throw out all my currently collected goodies, or 2. Make the choice not to purchase the new game and just bench myself from playing destiny with my very large group of in game friends with my 400+ hours of game time. What is the point in the last dlc to get us all excited about reviving old, non-obtainable, vanilla gear and weapons, (as well as current weapons), to the new standard of 365 and higher light levels, only to trash everything in six months, not to mention the need for more vault space. If you wanted a fresh start completely then you may want to just make another game in my opinion, not dismantle the already very successful one you have already built. - Sincerely Concerned
