Witches Franchise Question
I've been thinking about getting The Witcher 3, but I was wondering if I needed to play the other 2 games first to understand the story. Can anyone help a brother out?

3 RepliesYou don't need to play the first two games to enjoy the third. Witcher 3 has a character tab in the menu and it will give you some back story for them. Google Witcher wikia also would help you catch up. What type of games do you like? RPGs? Shooters? I only ask because this game doesn't seem to please everyone. Some love it, but some just don't mix well with it. Personally, I thought it was fantastic.
