You do realize that the new xp cap is 30 right? So I'm pretty sure if they decided to just take away the light level all of us 34's would be level 30.

Take a look at your stats. You're Light Level may be 34 but your LEVEL is 20. If they take away Light Levels then we all are level 20. Experience points will now advance us up in levels instead of giving us Motes of Light.
